Covid-19 vaccine and rapid testing.

We know this year has been a difficult one. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted us all in ways we could have never imagined. We have had to adjust as well as we can to meet the needs of our families, friends and coworkers — while still checking in on our own health and wellness needs.

By now, you’ve heard that a COVID-19 vaccine for patients is near. As your health provider, we are committed to keeping you up to date on the latest vaccine news, including when and how you and your family can get the vaccine.

There will be no charge for insured and uninsured patients for the vaccine.

What do we know today?

While it is not yet certain when patient vaccinations will begin, rest assured that there will be no cost to our patients to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. We will bill your insurance carrier.

Vaccine distribution will occur in phases, beginning with high-risk health workers, first responders and older adults living in long-term care facilities. It is expected to take many months to vaccinate the entire patient population of DFWPMA.

What we are doing to get ready?

As you know, DFWPMA is one of the companies chosen by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to play a key role in COVID-19 vaccine administration.

Currently at DFWPMA we are being readied to administer COVID-19 vaccines, including training our health care professionals, and securing all needed equipment to handle and store the vaccines. We will work with the department of health, CDC, and other vaccine administrators to offer you safe and timely access to vaccines.

Once our vaccines arrive, we will be calling patients to establish an appointment for vaccine administration.

In all communication, please include your first and last name, and your phone number to reach you.

Lastly, for as long as it is needed, COVID-19 testing will continue to be available from our office. As an enhanced measure, our office has obtained the rapid Abbott laboratory testing

Where we can offer rapid STREP, FLU, and COVID-19 testing via saliva or nasal. Please visit our website at www, for more information.
