Dr. Alain Tocatjian, MD is a board-certified cardiologist and internal medicine specialist with over five decades of clinical experience. He is the Founding Partner and current Medical Director of DFW Physicians Medical Associates (DFWPMA), where he has been instrumental in shaping innovative and patient-centered care models.

Dr. Tocatjian earned his medical degree from St. Joseph’s University in Beirut, Lebanon, and completed his internship at Brooklyn-Cumberland Medical Center, followed by a residency at Baylor University Medical Center. He is certified by both the American Board of Cardiovascular Disease and the American Board of Internal Medicine.

With extensive experience across both hospital and outpatient settings, Dr. Tocatjian is known for delivering compassionate, individualized treatment. He is respected for his collaborative approach to care and his deep regard for the expertise of his colleagues.

As Medical Director of DFWPMA, Dr. Tocatjian has led the development of several impactful programs, including the Controlled Substance Program, Integrated Behavioral Health, and Chronic Disease Programs—initiatives that have raised the standard of care across the organization and improved patient outcomes.

Fluent in English and French, Dr. Tocatjian serves patients across multiple locations in Texas, including Sherman, Frisco, McKinney, and Fort Worth. He is affiliated with Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center and offers telehealth services for greater patient convenience.
