Aniwelyn Tan is an  experienced Family Nurse Practitioner and Primary Care Provider, with over 20 years of experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with honors from St. Paul University, Dumaguete, Philippines. Following that, Aniwelyn earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from the University of Texas at Arlington. Aniwelyn holds the following certifications: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP-C), and Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (CVNP-BC). Aniwelyn has over 10 years of cardiac experience, working as a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Plano. Aniwelyn also worked as an Intensive Care Nurse at Texas Health Plano, Forest Park Medical Center, Centennial Medical Center. She also spent time as a Staff Nurse in the Neurology/Neurosurgery Unit at the Medical Center of Plano. Since joining DFWPMA, Aniwelyn has taken over the established practices of George Nieberg MD and ManeebMellem MD of Primary Care Associates.
