Dr. Mehnaz Khan is a Jinnah Sindh Medical University graduate and a board-certified psychiatrist with special training from Southern Illinois University, where she completed her General Psychiatry Residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship.
Representing 11+ years of experience in diagnosing and treating various psychiatric disorders, Mehnaz is an award-winning psychotherapist and a dedicated fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Her unique ability to listen to the symptoms as well as the stories of her patients, who they are and what makes them unique, sets her apart from others in her field. She uses an individualized approach to help her clients feel better mentally as well as physically.
Working closely with families, schools, counselors, psychotherapists, and social workers, Mehnaz believes in holistic medicine to understand and treat problems; integrating biomedical, psychological, and social perspectives to serve her patients. She believes in the early diagnosis and treatment of children with psychiatric disorders like Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and mood disorders.
Mehnaz has made a name for herself providing both traditional psychiatric services and consultations to primary care providers, and treats mental health conditions, and has co-authored multiple research articles and delivered various presentations on psychiatric disorders.
