Dr. Gitana Staskus is a board-certified endocrinologist with more than 20 years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating endocrine and metabolic disorders. She provides comprehensive endocrine care for adults and older adults, helping patients manage chronic conditions through personalized, evidence-based treatment and long-term support.

Dr. Staskus completed her medical training in Chicago before practicing in Illinois and Utah. Throughout her career, she has developed extensive experience caring for patients with diabetes, thyroid disease, hormone disorders, osteoporosis, and other endocrine conditions. She recently relocated to Texas and is excited to continue building lasting relationships with patients in the Fort Worth community.

Her passion for medicine began with a simple curiosity about how the body works. That curiosity continues to shape the way she approaches patient care today. Dr. Staskus believes every patient is unique, and that successful treatment starts with listening, understanding each person’s goals, and creating an individualized care plan together. Rather than simply telling patients what to do, she believes the best outcomes happen when patients actively participate in decisions about their health.

Dr. Staskus has a special interest in diabetes management, including Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes, as well as thyroid disorders, weight management, metabolic disorders, hormone-related conditions, and osteoporosis. She also has experience caring for patients with post-transplant diabetes and other complex endocrine conditions.

She believes education is one of the most important parts of treatment. By taking the time to explain diagnoses, discuss treatment options, and answer questions, Dr. Staskus helps patients feel confident managing their condition. Her goal is to provide the guidance, knowledge, and support patients need to improve their health and reduce the risk of long-term complications.
