She earned her medical degree from Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine in 1995, completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Cook County Health and Hospitals System in Chicago, and subsequently completed an Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in 2005.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, Dr. Staskus has also held an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine.
